— Companies

The Lufthansa Group has set itself ambitious targets: by 2020, the company aims to reduce its specific CO2 emissions by 25 per cent compared to 2006 levels. Sustainable, alternative fuels with a better CO2 footprint are a key component in avoiding emissions in the future. Lufthansa plans to blend up to 10 per cent of synthetic fuel with conventional jet fuel by 2020. For further details, please visit Lufthansa's related webpage www.konzern.lufthansa.com/en/themen/biofuel.html

In cooperation with Lufthansa AG, INOCAS works on biojet fuel feedstock made in Europe which offer the lowest possible carbon footprint and do not reduce current agricultural production levels.
